If so, an opportunity to work with an integrated health care system based in east central Ohio is looking for someone to join their team.
The system is a not-for-profit and has over 300 physicians and multiple outpatient care centers throughout the area.
The system is the largest provider in a six county region and a primary referral center.
It offers a higher level of service than what is typically found in a community of its size including open-heart surgery, trauma care, a Level II neonatal intermediate care unit, neurosurgery and
comprehensive cancer services.

Provides therapeutic counseling to chemically dependent people using a bio-psychosocial approach. 
Educates patients and families regarding the disease process for chemical dependency. 
Leads group discussions, Works 1:1 with patients on chemical dependency issues, and assigns group activities for Mental Health Technicians. 
Assess the patient needs and recommends appropriate groups.

Must be licensed by the Chemical Dependency Professionals Board. Credentials may be CDCA, LCDC II, III, or LICDC. (applicants with a CDCA will be required to obtain a LCDC II or higher within three years of employment).
Knowledge of chemical dependency processes and treatment modalities.
Demonstrated skills appropriate for ODADAS levels of care, ASAM, SASSI, CIWA, and DSMIV usage.

Reports to one of our strongest managers (professional, empathetic, has high expectations for her staff) 
The position is generally Monday-Friday, but would be the back up counselor for the Driver Intervention Program that meets 1 weekend per month-all 3 shifts.  
The counselor may occasionally conduct an evening group as the back up if a staff member takes vacation.  
The counselor schedule is a day shift from 8am-4:30pm and one weekend a month(Thursday 2pm-10pm, Friday, Saturday and Sunday 7:30am-4pm). The person would be conducting the Driver Intervention Program during the weekend shift.

The position is offering between 41K-57K. The position offers relocation and a great benefit package.
