Here is a brief description:
Responsible for utilizing the nursing process to provide direct patient care to patients in the appropriate nursing unit as assigned.
Responsible for prioritizing the delivery of direct nursing care using time and resources efficiently integrating a standards based framework model.
Provides direct and indirect patient care through the application of the nursing process, which includes assessment, planning, implementing, and discharge needs of the patient and his/her family.

The Department of Nursing Service position that the RN works in will deliver patient care with the knowledge of a Registered Nurse.  Must demonstrate the clinical ability to work as Primary RN on the Unit to which assigned.
•Coordinates the delivery of patient care on the Unit, including admission, transfer and discharge processes.
•Completes required documentation including all medical charts and care-related notes.
•Participates in patient/family teaching and discharge planning, effectively utilizing the Nursing Process. 
•Provides leadership by working cooperatively and effectively with physicians, ancillary staff and other administrative and support personnel in
•maintaining the standards of professional nursing practice in the multidisciplinary clinical setting. 
•Provides the basic leadership required of a Registered Nurse for subordinate staff on the Unit. 
•Maintains quality delivery of patient care by completing patient assignments in compliance with the Nursing Process, the Arizona Nurse Practice Act,
•JCAHO and State regulations and established Hospital Policies and Procedures. 
•Strives to consistently give all patients, family members and others served positive, supportive interactions based on the Hospitals Standards of Behavior.

Bachelors degree in Nursing
Arizona License required or able to obtain or valid multi-state license from a recognized compact state acceptable to Arizona.
BLS, ACLS needed.

Additional Info:
Openings exist in PACU, OR Circulator and Labor/Delivery.
The PACU and OR Circulator positions are day shift weekdays with rotating on call.
The OB position is day shift with rotating days.

The position will offer pay commensurate with experience, an excellent benefit package and relocation/sign-on package as well.
